Distinct Identities
Company Heraldry
Company Heraldry are treated as distinct identities. They must be used with the Corps shield in a separate imprint area whenever possible. The Virginia Tech master brand need not be incorporated into merchandise bearing both Company Heraldry and the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets shield. Military-themed symbolism that does not cross the line of explicit gore or poor taste is allowed in the Company Heraldry. The Licensing and Trademarks department will advise the Corps on Heraldry symbolism when representing the university.
