It’s time to get excited for the 2025 Highty-Tighty Reunion!

The Highty-Tighty alumni band is the heartbeat of Virginia Tech Homecoming. For more than four decades, our alumni have marched in the parade and performed at the football pre-game show with current Highty-Tighties.
It doesn't matter if your musical skills have diminished, or if you can no longer play your instrument. All Highty-Tighty alumni are invited to join us. Need to borrow an instrument? You can indicate that on your registration form.
Participation in the parade and pre-game performance requires proper attire: khaki pants/skirt (no shorts please), white shirt (with Virginia Tech tie for men), official Highty-Tighty sweater or the new pullover, and Highty-Tighty hat.

- Hats are $10 and can be purchased through the registration process.
Our reunion is a great time for all who have been a part of the regimental band to come together, to march again as a unit, and to continue to share the common experience of the Highty-Tighties.
Lodging
A limited block of rooms is reserved for Highty-Tighty Reunion at The Inn at Virginia Tech. A link to make reservations will be provided in your registration confirmation email.
Football Tickets
The link to purchase tickets for the Wake Forest vs. Virginia Tech football game will be provided in the confirmation email upon registration.
Tentative Schedule of Events
Exact times and locations will be emailed once game time is announced.
Virginia Tech Homecoming Parade
Route will go through downtown Blacksburg. All HTs marching in the parade will meet at the staging area in the proper uniform.

Football vs Wake Forest
Time of kick-off will be announced approximately two weeks prior to the game.
Football in the atrium: There will be a watch party for those who don’t want to go to or remain at Lane Stadium for the game.
Highty-Tighty Annual Alumni/Cadet Meal
We will hold the meal at Dietrick Dining Hall.
- If the game starts at 12:00 or 1:00, we will hold the meal after the football game.
- If the game starts at 3:00 or later, we will hold the meal before the football game.
