Nicole Freeman Ramos
Nicole Freeman Ramos joined the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets advancement team as the Manager of Donor Relations, Scholarships and Stewardship in February 2023. She served previously in the College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences as the college’s scholarship coordinator. Ramos began her career in scholarships in 2013 with the George Washington University financial aid office, later joining the same office at Radford University. She brings over 10 years of scholarship and higher education experience. Ramos is from Giles County, where she resides with her husband, Ariel. They have one son, Maddox.
Anna Morgan Kirk
Anna Morgan Kirk joined the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets staff this May as the administrative office lead for the Rice Center of Leader Development. Kirk will be responsible for handling the budgeting, scheduling, and travel for the Rice Center. With over 13 years in office experience, she was previously employed with Carilion Orthopedics where she served as the office assistant to Dr. Jonathan Maher. Kirk is a 2011 graduate from Giles High School and resides in Pembroke, VA with her husband, Devin, and two daughters, Lyla Morgan and Libby Mackenzie.

Emmy Krafsig ’23
Emmy Krafsig is the Alumni Advancement Associate Managerial Assistant for the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets. She is tasked with coordinating events for the advancement team. A human nutrition, food, and exercise major, Emmy graduated from the Corps of Cadets in May and served as both VPI Battalion’s commanding officer and Regimental Adjutant during her senior year. Emmy has been accepted into the Peace Corps and will be serving in Vanuatu this fall.
