The Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets celebrated its senior class with the 74th annual Senior Banquet and Military Ball on Feb. 11.

The guest speaker at banquet was Command Sgt. Maj. Frank Grippe (retired). Grippe rose through the U.S. Army ranks to become the command senior enlisted leader for the United States Central Command under Gen. James Mattis, now the U.S. secretary of defense.

The Military Ball featured the theme "Freedom Isn't Free" and a performace by the Gregory Guard. Music was provided by the Southern Colonels and SPANK.
