What if… one school could offer you nationally-ranked academics, a prestigious leadership tradition, and a unique & unifying college experience?  Sound too good to be true?

You’ve found it - the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets!

The Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets offers you leadership experiences you would expect from one of the nation’s top senior military colleges, but also the balance of a public university that was ranked 3rd in Princeton Review’s “Students Love Their Colleges” category.  The best of both worlds.

The mission of the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets is to graduate leaders of exemplary character who are instilled with the values and skills essential for leadership success in service to the nation. But, our cadets get the most out of their college experience, too!

The 1,000+ cadets are enrolled in any of Virginia Tech’s 70+ majors and have an opportunity to earn a Leadership Studies minor, as well.  They live in one of the Corps’ five residence halls, and participate in the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets’ 24/7 leader development program.

The Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets’ leader development program is perfect for students who know they want to differentiate themselves with leadership in the public or private sectors after graduation as well as students planning on serving in the military after college.
